I started Backgrounds 4 U because it's something I enjoy, and I want to share my work with the world! I ultimately want to be a professional photographer, but while I am raising my children and waiting on school I have a little fun with my camera taking shots of everything there is to shoot.
I was wondering what to do with all of the pictures I take, and I've tried picture sharing sites however they aren't really what I'm looking for. I want to judge exactly how good I am and see if I do have a career in this business so I started my store.
Personally I use my own backgrounds and I love them. I can change the look of my desktop everyday! I didn't want to charge to much for my photos as I am really only in this for the enjoyment of photography, but I also want to know how serious those that use my backgrounds are. I think they are fairly priced, however at $0.10 a picture. Also the watermarks on the backgrounds are removed upon delivery so when you get the picture it won't say Alaina Ellington Photography.
Here is a preview of some others. If you'd like to visit my store there is a link in the upper right hand corner.

I also have stopped using ebay for the most part, firstly because they charge outrageously and secondly because they have some weird posting rules about categories so I would rather just steer clear.
